This 2,500 sq. ft., 4 bedroom/3 bath luxury home is located in the exclusive Playacar community of Playa del Carmen and has direct access to the white, sandy beaches and turquoise waters of the Caribbean. The home is a 45 minute drive south of the Cancun airport. Completed in Spring 2003, Amigos de Corazon is a short walk from the ferry boat to Cozumel and Playa del Carmen’s famed Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue). The pedestrian street is lined with many shops, restaurants, international cafes and becomes truly vibrant at night.
While you will not likely want to ever leave the house and beach, take a short drive 30 minutes south to discovery more beautiful beaches and the quaint shops of Akumal. You may also enjoy the activities, restaurants and nightlife of Cancun, only 45 minutes north.
The Home
The house is beautifully decorated in the modern Mexican style with elegant mahogany furnishings. Throughout this unique vacation home, you see the ample use of Mexican tiles, marble, beautifully color washed walls, and handcrafted finishings.
On the first floor is a fully equipped kitchen with counter seating, separate dining and roomy living area ... all with fantastic views of the sea. Also on the first level, are two large bedrooms that share a full bath and a luxurious Master suite, complete with King sized bed and private bath. All rooms are unique with attention given to finest detail. A covered patio off the dining room is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the beach come alive.
On the second floor you find another spectacular Master bedroom with King sized bed, and a beautiful private bath. Surrounding the Master suite is a large balcony and sunning area where you will enjoy an unbelievable view of the ocean and beach. Casa Amigos de Corazon is everything you could hope for and more! Fully air conditioned, satellite TV, DVD player and VCR are just a few of the amenities.
Activities
For more adventure, you may want to explore the Mayan archeological ruins of Tulum, Chichen Itza and Coba or the nearby ecological water parks of Xel-Ha and Xcaret. Diving, snorkeling, horseback riding, and jungle tours are also available. Or see a different view of the beach from a Jet Ski or Sea Kayak. Also nearby are the Xaman Ha Aviary and a championship golf course designed by Robert Von Hagge
