The Cozumel Country Club will play host to the first edition of the “Cozumel Celebrity Golf Tournament”, an event to promote tourism for the Island of Cozumel, with

the participation of 18 celebrities from the NFL, NBA, MLB, Hollywood actors and singers of the United States.

Occurring from May 31st through June 3rd, this tournament is sponsored by the state government of Quintana Roo, the local government of Cozumel, Fox Sports, Señor

Froggs, Avis and more. Participating celebrities include Bob Beamon, Jorge Campos, Antonio Freeman, Eddie George, Andrew McCarthy, Ed Marianaro, Dave Parker,

Bruce Smith, James Scott, Dave Stewart, Daryl Talley, Thurman Thomas, Billy Saint and more.

The Cozumel Country Club, with its Jack Nicklaus designed 18-hole championship course, was the first on this island. This 6,734 yard 72 par course extends itself

around the tree line surrounded by mangroves, swamps and the rest of the natural habitat of this beautiful Island. This wonderful course is located only 15 minutes

from the international port and 10 minutes from the Cozumel airport, making it accessible to all new visitors.
